Annex – 5-Eyes Secrecy Laws

This Annex contains initial research by INSLM staff on provisions in 5-Eyes countries which may provide useful comparisons to the Part 5.6 offences in Australia’s Criminal Code 1995 (Cth). This research is provided to assist those interested in making submissions to the 2024 INSLM review of the Part 5.6 offences. As the issues paper reflects only preliminary research, it may be that additional relevant provisions are identified in the course of the INSLM review.
