Annual Reports
Under Section 29 of the INSLM Act, the Monitor is required to provide an annual report to the Attorney-General detailing activities undertaken in accordance with the Monitor’s functions. The report must be delivered to the Attorney-General as soon as practicable after 30 June, and before 31 December of that year. After the report is delivered to the Attorney-General, it must be tabled in both chambers of Parliament within fifteen sitting days or thirty calendar days (whichever is sooner) and will then be uploaded to this website. Of note, the Annual Reports published by the first Monitor, Mr Bret Walker AO SC, included the findings and recommendations of the reviews he conducted.
